Definition

  • Information A feed block is a product where different ingredients are mixed together, to create a solid block from which the animals are supposed to lick. This provides the animals with a small supply of nutrients, since they only ingest small amounts at a time. Feed blocks are mainly used for ruminating animals such as cows, sheep and goats. (en)
