Definition

  • Information Non-arable land is land not capable of supporting temporary crop production due to land, drainage, climate or soil constraints. It can include shrublands, savannas, and other ecosystems, mountains, deserts, and tundras, and land that produces crops from woody vegetation, e.g. orchard land, vineyards, coffee plantations, rubber plantations, and land producing nut trees.
