Iron deficiency chlorosis (IDC) causes interveinal chlorosis, which appears as pale-yellow leaves with green leaf veins. Symptoms appear on newly formed leaves, often starting with the first trifoliate leaves, because iron (Fe) is not mobile within the plant.
