  • Information Uncultivated agricultural land is land previously used as an agricultural area, but no longer worked for economic, social or other reasons. Uncultivated agricultural land can include land that is abandoned, set aside, or fallow. The classification and the timeframe required for land to be considered uncultivated can differ widely depending on factors such as a region's agricultural policies, land use laws, and environmental regulations.
