Pagos que realiza un beneficiario por un servicio de agua (abastecimiento doméstico, riego, etc.). La acción de establecer el precio, o tarifa, sobre cuya base se calculan los cargos por agua suele denominarse tarificación del agua, pero es claramente muy distinta de la fijación económica formal del «precio» del agua como recurso natural, donde se aplica la noción de precio sombra ("shadow pricing").
