  • Information Deniz dağı, okyanus tabanından başlayan ve su yüzeyine ulaşmadan yükselen ve bu nedenle bir ada, adacık veya uçurum kayası olmayan büyük deniz altı yer şeklidir. Deniz dağları tipik olarak aniden yükselen ve genellikle deniz tabanından 1.000-4.000 m yükselmiş olan sönmüş volkanlardan oluşur.
