Ultrasonic devices are devices which make use of transmission of ultrasonic, sonic or acoustic waves in their functionality. These devices are used for a variety of purposes in the oil and gas industry such as to get seismic data from a reservoir, transfer data from remote locations to control rooms and perform ultrasonic testing.
