  • Information Couverture physique et biologique observée de la surface terrestre, y compris les caractéristiques naturelles, telles que la végétation, les sols et les étendues d’eau, ainsi que les caractéristiques anthropiques, telles que les bâtiments et les routes. La couverture des sols se distingue de l’utilisation des terres, qui renvoie aux activités entreprises sur tel ou tel type de couverture.
