  • Information Sea sickness is a form of terrestrial motion sickness characterized by a feeling of nausea and, in extreme cases, vertigo experienced after spending time on a boat. An autonomic disturbance produced by exposure to some forms of motion, often of an unfamiliar kind, characterised by one or more of the following; pallor, sweating, nausea and vomiting.
