  • Deals with rearing of desirable aquatic organisms under controlled or semi-controlled conditions for economic or social benefits. Of special concern are the allocation and utilization of scarce resources (land, labour, capital and management) in the production of aquatic organisms under managed conditions to satisfy some human want.
