Stagnosols are soils with perched water. They show periodically reducing conditions resulting in stagnic properties. Stagnosols have a mottled layer (with oxides predominantly inside the aggregates) with or without an overlying layer with albic material. Redox processes may also be caused by intruding liquids other than water (e.g. gasoline). A common name in many national soil classification systems for most Stagnosols is Pseudogley. In the United States of America many Stagnosols belong to Aquic Suborders and Epiaquic Great Groups of various Orders (Aqualfs, Aquults, Aquents, Aquepts and Aquolls). (IUSS Working Group WRB. 2015. World Reference Base for Soil Resources 2014, update 2015 International soil classification system for naming soils and creating legends for soil maps. World Soil Resources Reports No. 106. Non-conventional feed resources refers to all those feeds that have not been traditionally used in animal feeding and or are not normally used in commercially produced rations for livestock. These have been identified separately from crop residues and agro-industrial by-products, although they can be components of both these feed categories. (Asian Productivity Organization, 1990. Report of APO Symposium on Animal Feed Resources 24–29 August 1987 (SYP/IV/87) ISBN: 92-833-2087-5 https://www.fao.org/3/AC153E/AC153E00.htm)
Note
The term non-conventional feed resources has been used to describe sources of feedstuffs as palm press fibre (oil palm by-products), single cell proteins, and feed material derived from agro-industrial by-products of plant and animal origin, poor-quality cellulosic roughages from farm residues such as stubbles, haulms and vines.
Community forestry is based in the local control over, and enjoyment of the benefits from, the local forest resource. These benefits are not simply monetary, nor are they derived exclusively from timber production, but may vary with the many values associated with forest ecosystems, including cultural, spiritual, social, medicinal, ecological, recreational, aesthetic and economic values.
