  • Ivermectin (CAS No. 70288-86-7)1 is a macrocyclic lactone belonging to the avermectin family, widely used as a broad-spectrum antiparasitic drug against nematodes and arthropods in food-producing animals. It is also used in human medicine to treat a variety of internal nematode infections , as well as for oral treatment of ectoparasitic infections, such as pediculosis and scabies.
