  • Indigenous Peoples’ tenure rights are the rights that Indigenous Peoples traditionally have over land, fisheries and forests to occupy, use, develop, enjoy and withdraw benefits from the natural resources, as well as the right to restrict others’ access to these resources; and/or the right to manage, sell or bequeath the resources.
