  • Information Birleşmiş Milletler Deniz Hukuku Sözleşmesi kapsamında, ulusal yetki alanı dışındaki alanların deniz biyolojik çeşitliliğinin korunması ve sürdürülebilir kullanımına ilişkin Anlaşma (BBNJ Anlaşması), Birleşmiş Milletler himayesinde 19 Haziran 2023 tarihinde Ulusal Yargı Yetkisi Ötesindeki Alanların Deniz Biyolojik Çeşitliliği Hükümetlerarası Konferansı tarafından kabul edildi. BBNJ Anlaşması dört ana konuyu ele alıyor: Faydaların adil ve hakkaniyetli paylaşımı da dahil olmak üzere deniz genetik kaynakları; deniz koruma alanları da dahil olmak üzere alan bazlı yönetim araçları gibi önlemler; çevresel etki değerlendirmeleri; kapasite geliştirme ve denizcilik teknolojisinin transferi.

  • Information The Agreement under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea on the conservation and sustainable use of marine biological diversity of areas beyond national jurisdiction (BBNJ Agreement) was adopted on 19 June 2023 by the Intergovernmental Conference on Marine Biodiversity of Areas Beyond National Jurisdiction convened under the auspices of the United Nations. The BBNJ Agreement addresses four main issues: Marine genetic resources, including the fair and equitable sharing of benefits; Measures such as area-based management tools, including marine protected areas; Environmental impact assessments; and Capacity-building and the transfer of marine technology.
