stádium květu

DEFINITION

  • Flower development stage that begins when pollen is released by anther dehiscence and/or the stigma is receptive and ends with the process of pollination and/or floral organ senescence. In most species, flowering stage (anthesis) is when the flower is open and ends with pollination. During this stage, the process of anther dehiscence usually occurs, defined as the dehiscence of an anther to release the pollen grains contained within it. This term applies to an individual flower.
