  • Le chlorure de vinyle (CV) est un gaz inflammable, explosif, incolore et ayant une odeur agréable. On l'utilise dans l'industrie des matières plastiques, habituellement pour produire du PVC (polychlorure de vinyle), et on ne le retrouve pas à l'état naturel dans l'environnement. On l'utilise également comme fluide frigorigène et dans les procédés de synthèse organique.
