  • Forage sorghum is a member of the sorghum family and is closely related to grain sorghum, broomcorn, sorghum-sudangrass, and sudangrass. Forage sorghum is best adapted to warm regions and is particularly noted for its drought tolerance compared to corn. Forage sorghum is best utilized as a silage crop, although it can be grazed or cut for hay if managed appropriately. (en)
