DEFINITION

  • Procedimiento por el cual un organismo o entidad de certificación proporciona una garantía por escrito o equivalente de que un producto, proceso o servicio se ajusta a los requisitos especificados. La certificación puede, si procede, basarse en una serie de actividades de auditoría que pueden incluir auditorías continuas en la cadena de producción.
