  • Information L’oscillation nord-atlantique consiste en des variations opposées de la pression barométrique à proximité de l’Islande et des Açores. Elle correspond donc à des fluctuations de la force des vents d’ouest dominants à travers l’Atlantique jusqu’en Europe et, par conséquent, à des fluctuations des cyclones déjà formés et des systèmes frontaux qui leur sont associés.

  • Information Oscilación consistente en variaciones de signo opuesto de la presión en superficie en las proximidades de Islandia y de las Azores.   • Information The North Atlantic Oscillation consists of opposing variations of surface pressure near Iceland and near the Azores. It therefore corresponds to fluctuations in the strength of the main westerly winds across the Atlantic into Europe, and thus to fluctuations in the embedded extratropical cyclones with their associated frontal systems.
