Genellikle fidan üretiminde ve anaç
kalınlığı fazla olmayan (işaret parmağı
kalınlığında) aşılamalarda tercih edilen bir
yöntemdir. Topraktan 5-25 cm yükseklikte veya
anacın ince dallarına uygulanır. Anaç T şeklinde
kesilir, kalemden çıkartılan göz odunlu veya
odunsuz olarak alınarak anaca yerleştirilir.

of the cut in the rootstock, whereas the “shield bud” is
derived from the shield-like appearance of the bud
piece when it is ready for insertion in the rootstock.
