Fluidized bed combustors are combustors that use fluidized-bed combustion, a process in which solid particles are made to exhibit fluid-like properties by suspending these particles in an upwardly flowing evenly distributed fluid stream. Fuel flexibility and reduced emissions are the benefits of fluidized bed combustion. (Adapted from Dipak K. Sarkar, Chapter 5 - Fluidized-Bed Combustion Boilers,

Fluidized bed reactors (FBRs) are chemical reactors in which (catalytic) particles interact with a gas stream that is fed from the bottom, such that the mixture (emulsion phase) behaves as a fluid. (Ivo Roghair, Fausto Gallucci, Martin van Sint Annaland, Chapter Four - Novel Developments in Fluidized Bed Membrane Reactor Technology, Editor(s): Anthony G. Dixon, Advances in Chemical Engineering, Academic Press, Volume 45, 2014, Pages 159-283, https://doi.org/10.1016/B978-0-12-800422-7.00004-2.)
Avian tuberculosis is an important disease that affects companion, captive, exotic, wild and domestic birds and mammals. The disease is most often caused by Mycobacterium avium subsp. Avium. However more than ten other mycobacterial species have been reported to infect birds. (https://www.woah.org/fileadmin/Home/fr/Health_standards/tahm/3.03.06_AVIAN_TB.pdf)
Egg drop syndrome (EDS) virus is caused by duck adenovirus A. The adenovirus is a member of the genus Atadenovirus and family Adenoviridae. Egg drop syndrome affects chickens and quail. (J.R. Roberts, R. Souillard, J. Bertin, 16 - Avian diseases which affect egg production and quality, Editor(s): Yves Nys, Maureen Bain, Filip Van Immerseel,

Refers to the viral disease "egg drop syndrome". For the clinical sign "decreased egg production", see <c_3c3337c4>.
A condition of involuntary weight loss of greater then 10% of baseline body weight. It is characterized by atrophy of muscles and depletion of lean body mass. Wasting is a sign of malnutrition as a result of inadequate dietary intake, malabsorption, or hypermetabolism. (MeSH. 2024. Wasting Syndrome. https://meshb-prev.nlm.nih.gov/record/ui?ui=D019282)
The purpose of forest rehabilitation is to restore the capacity of degraded forest land to deliver forest products and services. Forest rehabilitation re-establishes the original productivity of the forest and some, but not necessarily all, of the plant and animal species thought to be originally present at a site. GNSS is the generic term for satellite systems providing timing and positioning data. GPS is a U.S. owned GNSS. Other systems, e.g. BeiDou, Galileo, GLONASS, are available. GPS commonly refers to GNSS in general and is the most commonly used term.
